Most issues we see come down to these, in this order:

• Not on Apple Silicon. Transcribr Flow needs an M1 or later Mac on macOS 14 or newer. Intel Macs are not supported.
• Accessibility permission.Push-to-talk needs it to paste into other apps. System Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Accessibility, then toggle Transcribr Flow on.
• Microphone permission.System Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Microphone.
• Whisper model not downloaded. Settings sidebar, then Model. Pick one and wait for the first-run download.
• Cleanup model not downloaded. The first time you launch the app it fetches a small language model so cleanup can run on-device. If that download failed (no internet, blocked by a firewall), dictation still works, cleanup falls back to raw text. Settings sidebar, then Cleanup, then Retry download.
